About Diamond Rose Glows

Performing arts and events photography rooted in movement, music

I’m a performing arts and events photographer based in Arcata and Eureka, California, with a deep love for documenting live experiences as they unfold. My work centers on concerts, festivals, stage performances, nightlife, dance, burlesque, community events, and artistic productions—especially the kind of moments that are fast-moving, emotionally charged, and lit by atmosphere more than certainty.

Intuitive & Empathetic

As a performing artist myself, I bring an intuitive and empathetic approach to every shoot. With a background in piano, sound healing, clowning, burlesque, improv, and comedy, I understand what it means to be in the spotlight, to move through nerves, presence, expression, and transformation. That perspective shapes the way I photograph: not just documenting what happened, but capturing how it felt.

Community & Music SceneWork

My work is grounded in Northern California’s creative communities. I’ve photographed hip-hop artists and live performers including The Neighborhood Kids, Indigenous Cats, Stella Standingbear, Nef the Pharaoh, Grieves, and MarchFourth. I also serve as the resident photographer for Fuego Reggaetón Party and regularly document events in venues across Eureka and Arcata, including the Arcata Theatre Lounge, The Basement, Eureka Theatre, Humbrews, and Arcata Playhouse.

Creative Focus and Community Connection

I most recently worked as a burlesque photographer for a local cabaret, expanding my work across dance, movement, and theatrical performance. My photography often features dancers, flow artists, musicians, venues, and the audience—capturing both the performers and the energy that surrounds them. I’m proud to support community-centered work, including projects with Centro del Pueblo. As a queer female photographer deeply connected to music, nightlife, and BIPOC and Latinx creative spaces, I bring a perspective rooted in collaboration, representation, and lived experience.
